Weekend Warrior

Ventured out to a couple of events inworld this week which meant I was rocking the full body alpha look to dodge the lag monster. Being able to gawk at the interesting art installations at Indie Teepee and browse through the stores at the Hair Fair without getting stuck is fair trade for being invisible for a few hours. And of course, there were gifts to grab too.

Sunshine and light

Spending power. Someone once told me that it would be so much more fun to buy stuff in Second Life. At already a couple of weeks old and my inventory climbing with freebies, group gifts, hunt gifts, midnight mania and lucky chair prizes, I was reasonably skeptical. Also worried, because how did my inventory bloat like that?! Maybe I’ll never know the answer to that mystery but I did discover Gacha Machines and yard sales and…Oh. I’m beginning to see his point.

Epiphany and deets:

Top: This Is Wrong // Bolero top. Red (20L This Is Wrong is having a Summer Sale on some of it’s items and that collar…I could not resist.)

Sky and sea keep harm from me.

I’ve always found myself attracted to beach sims. There’s just something calming listening to the sound of never ending waves and the cry of sea gulls. I’m an island girl and I suppose your first life never really leaves you.
